The Art Institue was next on the plate. We rode the Metra and then planned on the bus to the museum, but couldn’t find a stinken bus schedule in Union Station. We walked to the musem–probably about 15 blocks. Got to the museum and spent some time in the Impressionism exhibit, then went on a tour in the museum and it was not what we expected. Too quirky of a hostess. They took about an hour to show us 4 places in the museum, what a yawner.

We then proceeded to the Apple store on Michgan Ave and looked around (I actually drooled) in the store. It is quite a nice place. Then my daughter dragged us to teh American girl store where my son and I started wrestling on the 4th floor since we were so bored. That store needs to cater to men somehow, offer a comfy chair, a hockey game, something!! I couldn’t stand it, but we hung in there for my little princess (who is now 9)
