Animal Sightings

On our last trip after the Big Ticket Festival, we traveled to the UP. We visited the Tahquamenon Falls State Park. Prior to dinner at the brewery, (at the park), we saw a deer just wandering through the parking lot. I grabbed my camera and followed it while it was snacking on some weeds and grass. It was surreal! Then we decided to drive around a bit and saw 2 black bear at two different times just wandering down the road. If I see a moose, I will feel complete! Pics to come.
Plastic Bottle Deposit?

A Michigan organization is trying to get a bottle return deposit on water bottles due to an increase in Americans use of drinking bottled water. In return, a Michigan representative is trying to get a law on the books to make recycling simpler. More >
